Abstract

A new species of Binodacarus Castilho & Moraes, Binodacarus aceguensis sp. nov., is described based on morphology of adult females and males collected from soil in a survey carried out in the southern of Brazil in 2012–2013, raising to two the number of species known in this genus. The genus is rediagnosed to accommodate the morphological features of the new species.
