Abstract

Abstract An infinite square-free sequence of elements of {0, 1, 2} is constructed by using an auxiliary binary sequence in a way different from Thue and Morse's method. Furthermore, the infinite sequence is proved not to be generated by any morphism on the free monoid {0, 1, 2}∗.
