Abstract

This paper gives a general description of the “SANS” data reduction software package being developed recently for the small-angle spectrometer V4 operated at the BER II reactor in Berlin, Germany. Following an overview of programs and options available for anisotropic and isotropic data reduction, special features of the software for handling large amounts of data are discussed. A highlight is given to the automation tools, including command file usage and built-in repetition functions. The discussion is rounded off by a short description of the new, flexible data file format.
