Abstract
Summary A description is given of Salmonella Stormont, which belongs to subgenus I of the genus Salmonella. The antigenic structure is 3, 10: d: 1, 2. Salmonella Stormont was First isolated in Belfast in 1968, from the ileo-caecal lymph node of a pig, and subsequently from a meat-packing plant.
