Abstract

Abstract Electrophilic amination of primary amines with N-(dietho-xyphosphoroyl)-O-(p-nitrophenylsulfonyl)-hydroxylamine 1, followed by dephosphorylation of the phosphorohydrazidate 2 with p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate in ethanol, represents a novel approach to monoalkylhydrazines.
