Abstract

The ratio of the generalized to optical oscillator strengths for bound-free transitions in hydrogenlike systems is expressed as a function of two angles θ and φ. For all physically attainable values of the momentum transfer K 2 a 2 0 and of the energy κ 2 ħ 2/2 m of the ejected electron both θ and φ vary over a finite range only ( π+φ⩾θ⩾−φ, 1 2 π⩾θ⩾− 1 2 π ).
