Abstract

In-hospital mortality has been used as a quality measure for endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR). Given its narrow focus and low incidence, mortality alone might be a poor benchmark. Our objective was to define a new composite quality measure for EVAR, describe its incidence in a nationwide clinical registry, and determine whether optimal outcomes after EVAR are associated with center volume.
