Abstract
This review, based on the origin and the mechanism of release of exosomes, described the presence of HBV and HCV biomarkers in the exosomes and the mechanisms of secretion, and discussed the viral transmission, vaccination protection, and the influences on treatment and detection.Through basic research data, it preliminarily demonstrated the importance of nucleic acid detection being a gold standard, and pointed out that another new cause of the occult infection was existence of HBV and HCV in the exosomes.(Chin J Lab Med, 2018, 41: 496-498) Key words: Exosomes; Biomarkers; Hepatitis B virus; Hepacivirus
