Abstract

A new species of Nemesia endemic to the mountains around Piketberg in the western Cape is described. It is characterized by a perennial habit, ovate to widely ovate leaves with dentate margins, white flowers, and a short saccate spurless corolla tube with a prominent central invagination on the lower side.
