Abstract
AbstractA new one‐pot catalytic synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrazines based on reaction of nitriles with EtAlCl2 in the presence of metallic Mg and the Cp2TiCl2 catalyst with good yields (60‐90%) has been developed. The probable mechanistic scheme for the formation of substituted pyrazines is proposed.
