Abstract

A new molybdovanadate [NH4]6[Na(H2O)][V3Mo8O36H2]·16H2O (1) was isolated by a one-pot self-assembly synthesis strategy, which presented a three-dimensional (3D) porous framework based on the novel molybdovanadate [V3Mo8O36H2]7− building blocks bridged by Na+ cations. The modified electrode is prepared by utilizing compound 1 as electrode active material, exhibiting fast response, wide detection range, and high sensitivity for the detection of ascorbic acid.
