Abstract

A new genus and species, Bogdia orientalis, (Mammalia,Proteutheria, Pantolestidae) is described from the middle Eocene site of Tsagan-Khutel, from the valley of Lakes of the People's Republic of Mongolia. It is the first pantolestid species described from Asia.
