Abstract

The interval least derivation method is developed to obtain the normalized interval weights from an interval comparison matrix. The method can also be applied to a crisp matrix, an incomplete comparison matrix and can be generalized to solve the group decision-making problem. Illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
