Abstract
A new method has been developed to analyze current–potential curves. The treatment was applied to determine the kinetic parameters of oxygen reduction. The reduction of oxygen was studied on thin-film platinum electrodes in alkaline solution. For the purpose of comparison the kinetic parameters were determined by the traditional method of constructing Tafel plots.
