Abstract

Abstract It has been found experimentally that the magnetization curve of a magnetic fluid (MF) depends on the time of measurement. This phenomenon can be explained by the effect of the aggregation process. A new method of measurement that does not affect the dispersive composition of an MF is presented. A method for the numerical calculation of the MF particle volume distribution function using the magnetization curve is proposed.
