Abstract
A technique for insuring successful sterilization following cesarean section is described. Double ligation of the tube and resection of the intermediate portion burying of the infundibulum between the broad ligaments and resection of the tube with a wedge-shaped excision are techniques that have various drawbacks. The author recommends a procedure which is bloodless and involves division between double ligatures and the burying of both ligated ends as far apart as possible.
