Abstract
A new synthetic method has been developed to prepare diaryltrifluoromethylsulfonium salts from diaryldifluorosulfuranes by the action of Me 3SiCF 3/F −. This reaction is the transformation of nucleophilic trifluoro-methylating reagent into electrophilic one.
