Abstract

In multiple attribute decision making, attribute value and attribute weight can't be often given the exact value, they are sometimes given in the form of interval numbers. This paper first describes interval numbers multiple attribute decision making, defines interval numbers, positive ideal point and negative ideal point of interval numbers. Then proposes a new method for fuzzy multiple attribute decision making, computes the distance between each alternative and positive, negative ideal point of interval numbers, then finds out each alternative' closeness degree for ideal point, according to closeness degree, we can order the alternatives. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the proposed methods, the example shows this method's validity and feasibility.
