Abstract
This paper describes a new method for calculation of power spectral density by a digital computer. The features of the present method are as follows: (1) Data samplings are made phasewisely for individual analyzing frequency and the phasewise data are deduced by integrating the ordinally sampled data over the phase interval. The low pass filter is achieved by this procedure. (2) The sampled data belonging to the same phases are summed up for individual frequency to be analyzed and stored in a specified address of computer memory in succession before multiplying the sampling data by a sinusoidal function. (3) By these procedures, the computing time for power spectral density is extremely reduced.
