Abstract

A microporous metal-organic framework (MOF) with ttd-type topology, [Mn2(FDDI)](DMF)5.5(H2O)4.5 (Mn-MOF; H4FDDI = 5,5'-(9H-fluorene-2,7-diyl)-diisophthalic acid (DMF = C3H7NO) was solvothermal obtained and characterized. Mn-MOF contains three different channels that show excellent removal of low concentration of crystal violet as compared with methyl orange and methylene blue from the aqueous solution at 298 K.
