Abstract

Rudd (Scardinius erythrophthalmus, Linnaeus, 1758) is a native fish species of Croatia. The morphometric characteristics of rudd were studied in the Vrana Lake. In June 17th 2008 one specimen of female rudd was caught by a sport fisherman, with 617 mm in total length (TL), 541 mm in standard length (SL) and weighed 3.623 g.
