Abstract

A new materials design method on porous sensitive ceramics has been studied. As is well known, the goal of materials design is the creation of a porous ceramic material with specific desired properties. Of the various metal-oxide ceramics investigated, perovskite-type porous ceramics composed of the solid solution BaTiO 3BaSnO 3 (BTS) offer the most promise. But up to date, no such method has been reported so far in the literature for describing the relation between the properties and pore structure and materials design method on porous sensitive ceramics.
