Abstract
A new automatic TV/radio master control system has been developed jointly by NHK and NEC Corp. for installation at NHK's local stations. The system automatically transmits two TV channels, two medium-wave radio channels, and one FM radio channel at a time. The system features distributed processing using microcomputers and a hybrid integrated circuit technique. This article describes the master control equipment from a technical standpoint.
