Abstract

Abstract— For the past three years the condition of hip dysplasia in dogs has been investigated. Over 200 dogs have been radiographed, dissected and compared both macroscopically and histologically. Both normal and dysplastic pups have been followed from birth to maturity with daily X‐rays and finally the animals were euthanized, dissected, and the tissues sectioned. An analysis of these observations are reported.
