P. ; Hutchings, J. B. Abstract The radial velocity and light curve of BE UMa have been studied to determine the physical parameters of the stellar components. The authors find that the primary is a very hot subdwarf which has a large heating effect on a cool secondary, whose magnitude and radius both indicate that it is an evolved subgiant.
