Abstract

A new light weight and high reliability thrust vector control (TVC) system has been proposed based on characteristics of the liquid oxygen kerosene engine for the launch vehicle in this paper, which drains the engine high- pressure kerosene medium directly. And it can isolate the system remainder and cancel test oil source module by distributed layout and automatic stripping technology. Meanwhile ,the energy efficiency can reach more than 60% by fixed value decompression technology. And the damping adjustment device adopts an electronic mode, which has flexible adjustment and simplifies the pre-stage hydraulic bridge of redundant servo valve. A new three-redundant structure and corresponding redundant determination strategy are applied in the electrical control unit (ECU), which can ensure it work normally at one-way fault. Therefore, the system reliability can reach 0.99991 and its weight can reach less than 40% of the same output power system, which is an ideal thrust vector control system of the liquid oxygen kerosene engine.
