A new species of Laelius (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) from China is described and illustrated. Biometric measurement data are also included. Laelius jilinensis Lim and S. Lee sp. nov. is characterized by ‘having mandible with four teeth, the propodeal disc with five discal carinae and the pronotum slightly wider than long’ from other congeneric species.
