Abstract
A new kind of anisotropic conical scattering generated via wave mixing in BaTiO 3 is reported for both e-polarized and o-polarized incident beams. The characteristics are studied and compared with both anisotropic conical scattering via three-wave interaction and isotropic conical scattering attributed to four-wave interaction. Two models of the wave interaction are proposed, respectively based on photorefractive and photovoltaic effects.
