Abstract

The magnetic data χ(T) and μ(T) of the Mn(II) phthalocyanine have been fitted by assuming the existence of a Heisenberg exchange interaction between the Mn cations. From our model it has been possible to explain the electronic structure of the Mn cations and the high value of the anisotropy magnetic field.
