Abstract
We present a new hierarchy of solutions of the colored Yang-Baxter relation. They are generalizations of colored braid matrices with Z N graded symmetry. We explicitly give the Boltzmann weights of the N -state colored vertex models for N =2, 3, and 4. We also discuss the Boltzmann weights for N >4.
