Abstract
The dielectric behavior of a solid solution, 10 mol% lead titanate in lead magnesium niobate(0.1PT-0.9PMN), was studied. The resemblance between the relaxor ferroelectrics and glasses was discussed. A more reasonable new function was introduced to characterize the relation between the frequency and the temperature of dielectric constant maximum of relaxor ferroelectrics. It was found that the activation energy of 0.1PT-0.9PMN is 0.037ev.
