Abstract

Two giant specimens of Arthroleptis attaining a snout‐vent length of 57 mm, from the Rubeho Mountains in southern Tanzania are described as a new species. They are distinguished from the giant species A. tanneri of the West Usambara Mountains by longer tibiae and larger inner metatarsal tubercles.
