Abstract. The new genus Waorania is described from terra firme forest canopy samples from Ecuador with two new species (W. pantherina sp. n. andW. jaguarina sp. n.) representing a new subtribe, Waoranina subtrib. n., of the tribe Thioniini (Issidae: Thioniinae).
