Abstract
AbstractThe new genus Paramyocara is described to include P. iridescens sp. n. (type‐species) and P. punctatum sp. n. P. iridescens is recorded from eastern Queensland, New South Wales, and northern New Zealand (Auckland Province), and P. punctatum from eastern Queensland. Paramyocara is considered to be related to the endemic Australian genera Myocara Bergroth and Exomyocara Slater and Woodward.
