Abstract

A new-generation pilot ozone-generating plant with a 0.25 kg O3/h capacity is developed. It allows studies in the 1–5 nm3/h oxygen gas flow rate range at cooling water temperature up to +5°C, electric power up to 5 kW, and discharge gap variation from 0.1 mm. It is shown that ozone generators having brazed aluminum plate-fin electrodes with nanostructured barrier anodic oxide coating have indubitable advantages over the existing ones. In this case, alongside the optimization of ozone generator output parameters, it is possible to get ozone in high and superhigh concentrations.
