Abstract

When Web 2.0 technology was introduced, few could have predicted the full extent of its role in changing the way we work and the resulting impact – not only on the security of employee and employer data, but in influencing IT policy. Richard Turner explains why the growing pace of change in Web 2.0 technology and its integration into existing IT infrastructures make the requirement for a clear, effective and workable IT security policy more important than ever before.
