Abstract
Abstract An expression is derived for the time dependence of the viscosity of an amorphous alloy in the as-quenched or slightly annealed state. Using a spectrum of activation energies for irreversible processes, a linear increase of the viscosity with time is found, in agreement with the experimental results.
