Abstract

QoS has become a key factor affecting the success of web services applications. Different domains have specific QoS attributes and low domain specific QoS may lead to application failures. Therefore, ensuring high domain specific Qos is critical to user satisfactions. Secondly, dynamically retrieving and releasing the real-time QoS information is also very important because expired QoS data could negatively affect user decision. To attack the above mentioned two issues, this paper presents the DQ-WSDL (Dynamic QoS WSDL) description of QoS attributes and builds dynamic QoS management model based on existing service delivery structure. DQ-WSDL describes general domain QoS and the model dynamically acquires and publishes QoS. The validity of the model is proved through simulations. Results show that the dynamic QoS management model leads to higher application success rate than the static model.
