Abstract

In this issue of Chem , Martin, Guldi, and colleagues describe the preparation and study of one of the first examples of near-infrared-absorbing donor-acceptor materials based on carbon nanotubes and graphene. These materials show charge-transfer interactions in both the ground and excited states.
