Abstract
An automatic sleep spindle detection device based on phase locked loop circuitry is described. This device offers a reliable, inexpensive method for real time analysis of sleep spindle activity, may be applied to data on- or off-line, and provides information regarding spindle incidence, frequency (c/sec), amplitude and duration.
