Abstract
A new design method of sliding mode control based on the construction of Liapunov function is proposed in this paper. This method enables us to generate linear and nonlinear switching curves. Numerical simulations and pilot plant experiments on strongly endothermic NH4-alum pyrolysis reactor were carried out using Ibis design method. Good control performances were obtained in both cases.
