Abstract
It can be concluded that the invariants of stresses and strains can be employed to reflect the influence of stress state on fatigue crack inititation life. The expression proposed in the present paper can be used to correlate the stress triaxiality, equivalent strain and fatigue crack initiation life for multiaxial fatigue with proportional loadings
