Abstract

The mutual recognition of community opinion in multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) is an efficient way to solve complex system, which has widely application in practice. In this paper, the MAGDM under uncertain linguistic variables is studied. In order to achieve a desirable consensus in group decision making, a new algorithm is proposed to develop a satisfactory consensus reaching process, where the main point is to shrink the range of opinion values among decision makers. The whole MAGDM is automated by this model of consensus support system. The proposed algorithm and method have fundamental significance for recognition of community opinion in MAGDM, especially under uncertain linguistic variables. Finally, one example is represented to verify the method in practical problems.
