Abstract

This article aims, through the analysis of important productive sectors of the economy of the north of Espírito Santo, a modern definition for the pillars of conceptualization of what is Business culture. It was based on research carried out in the local productive arrangements of Pulp, in Aracruz, furniture, in Linhares and Clothing located in Colatina. These arrangements are all located in the state of Espírito Santo. Research was carried out on the "Business Culture" of these arrangements, also working on the concept of what productive arrangements are, in order to analyze the ways in which business culture influences the management of these sectors of the economy of Espírito Santo, revealing its positive and negatives as well as advantages and disadvantages. From these surveys, based on works that try to discuss the concept of Business Culture, a new pillar of definition for the referred concept is described. The surveys were important so that they can even serve as a basis for the competitive improvement of these arrangements and also for future research. The case study method was adopted, in a qualitative approach.
