Gaultheriae Ellis & Ev. in its subhiyaline to pale olivaceous conidia; and from the last two an-d from C. Handeliji BubAk in its conidia with long obconically truncate bases. Its very pale olivaceous coniidiophores with almost hiyaline tips distinguish it from C. Epigaeae Ellis & Dearness, C. mnolleriana Winter, and C. Oxydenidrit.
