Abstract

A new species of Polycentropodidae, Hnamadawgyia macularis gen. et sp. nov. is described based on a well-preserved specimen from Upper Cretaceous amber of Myanmar. It is the first female polycentropodid specimen reported from Upper Cretaceous Myanmar. The existence of the new species contributes toward the understanding of the diversity of the Polycentropodidae during 99 myr.
