Abstract
Barbarea hedgeana Kit Tan & Gemici (Cruciferae) is illustrated and described from southwest Anatolia. It is a small perennial marked by a distinct overall fruiting facies.

Barbarea hedgeana Kit Tan & Gemici, sp. nov
B. hedgeana are arranged in two rows per loculus, resembling the condition described for the genus Rorippa
O n the basis of the striate stem, toothed and irregularly pinnatisect cauline leaves with semi-amplexicaul auricles which are reminiscent of Barbarea, we decided to treat the new species as a Barbarea, regardless of its textbook or non-textbook position
