Abstract

To present anexperience of arteriovenous fistula formation for hemodialysis in patients with multiple previous formations of vascular access. Original technique of permanent vascular access was applied in 33 patients. Surgical procedure implies transposition of great saphenous vein from lower leg to thigh and formation of 2 fistulous veins for hemodialysis. Patients are under observation for 8-12 months after surgery. There were no cases of thrombosis within this period.
