Abstract

AbstractA new approach to the computation of the Schwarz–Christoffel formula is presented, which was suggested by previous experience with various algorithms. It exploits the similarity between actual and image polygon geometries to implement singularity cancellations in a simple, yet effective way. Some results are presented for significant mapping examples, and they are briefly discussed. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 32: 196–199, 2002.
