Abstract

This paper presents an approach to dyadic deontic logic based on some ideas which have their roots in the philosophy of law. It unifies three different formalizations of normative reasonings: the system of dyadic deontic logic of Georg Henrik von Wright from 1964-1965, a system of dyadic deontic logic in Zdzislaw Ziemba's style’ and a system of logic of norms by the author. The description of the logical calculi in question and the formal results concerning these calculi which we want to present here will be proceded by an introduction devoted to these ideas of legal theory which are the basis of this work.
